First, thanks for the nice comments about my blog entry.

Truly, it's hard to fathom why Corel would be acting
as it is. Some (including David Berlind: ttp://blogs.zdnet.com/BTL/?p=2048 and others who commented on my blog entry) have supposed that Microsoft still has some hooks into Corel. It's hard to come up with any other explanation, given that there is so little for Corel to lose by supporting OpenDocument, and so much to lose by not doing so.
